You did not merely arrive at a hotel.
You arrived in the most alive quarter of Haifa.

Provenance

Between walls that remember

1880

The house is raised in stone at the heart of the Ottoman quarter, steps from the port.

1900s

The quarter becomes the trading soul of the city — merchants, sailors, bankers.

2020s

A patient restoration: original walls kept, brass and wood brought back to light.

Today

Three private residences and a gin salon — history with modern comfort inside it.

The Turkish Quarter

The street that came back

Trade came through this street when the port was the city's front gate — camels, awnings, motor cars and a boulevard that ran straight down to the water. Then downtown emptied out for the better part of half a century. The stone stayed exactly where it was. The kitchens came back to it.

Why here

Why this house and not another

The whole floor is yours

No reception desk, no corridor of doors. You are handed a key to a private residence and the house behaves as though you live in it.

Walls from 1880

Ottoman stone, arches and vaulting kept exactly where the masons left them — restored, never replaced by an imitation of themselves.

The quarter at the door

The Turkish Market is one minute away, the chef kitchens two, the station four. Nothing here needs a car to be reached.

A gin salon downstairs

The house pours its own small-batch gin behind the iron door on the ground floor. Residents get the first glass with our compliments.

Then & now

The same walls, furnished twice

We keep the aesthetic of the past on purpose. Drag the seam: on one side the room as it would have been lived in when the house was new, on the other the room as you will find it.
